A North
Forward- Ainsley Moy Junior Freehold Twp - Ainsley continues to roll for the Patriots, she had a goal against Marlboro and then finished with a goal and two assists against Bridgewater-Raritan. Congrats on the commitment to TCU this week.
Defender- Abby Doherty Senior Middletown South - Committed to LaSalle, she has played all over the field this season for the Eagles, helping to lock down the defense and also moving up to halfback to help the attack. Last week she had the game winner against Midd North on a great run and finished off the pass. She finished the week putting in a PK against Somerville and added an assist. She finished the game helping the defense to close out the win 3-2.
Goalie - Maura Chawner Senior Middletown North - Maura helped Midd North take Midd South to the limit coming up with 9 saves in a 1-0 defeat. She then posted 4 saves in a shutout against Long Branch.
A Central
Forward - Gianna Romeo Senior RBC - Gianna might have some of the biggest goals of the week for all the teams in the Shore. First she scored the lone goal against Rumson for a 1-0 win and then had one goal and assist in a 4-3 comeback victory for RBC against Immaculata.
Defender - Payton Haley Senior RFH - Payton has been a solid force on Rumson's backline all season. Last week she helped lead the defense against #2 RBC to one goal in a 1-0 defeat. Later in the week she help keep a 2-1 lead against Colts Neck. She has been a key piece in Rumson's ability to qualify for the SCT.
Goalie - Moyosola Adeyeri Junior Holmdel - Moyosola had a solid week for the Hornets, helping them post two wins. First she had 10 saves against Wall in an overtime win. She then posted a shutout later in the week, her second of the season.
A South
Forward - Hannah Lewis Senior Central Regional - This is Hannah's second time being named forward of the week in A South. She scored a hattrick against #4 Brick Memorial under the lights last week in a remarkable performance.
Defender - Caitlin Mahala Junior Jackson Memorial - Caitlin anchored the back line in an upset win vs #9 Central Regional. Later in the week she continued to give forwards a hard time against an always dangerous North Hunterdon, who ended up winning 1-0.
Goalie - Hayley Tighe Senior Brick Memorial - Hayley had a great game vs #9 Central Regional, being tested all game especially in the late stages when Central Regional was going for the tie. She finished with 8 saves in the game, but it felt like more. Later in the week she completed her third shutout of the season against Southern.
B North
Forward - Kaitlyn Hankins Junior Neptune - Kaitylen had a stellar game against Ranney, scoring 3 goals and assisting on 3 goals. She has had a solid season scoring 11 goals on the year and 7 assists.
Defender - Anna Casler Junior Colts Neck -Anna had an excellent game against Manasquan to help with the shutout. She was moved to center back due to an injury on the team and was able to adjust quickly to anchor the backline.
Goalie - Mia Nikolic Junior Colts Neck - Mia made some very tough saves against Manasquan, 7 total, to get her third shutout of the season. Later in the week she was tested again, saving 11 shots in a loss to Rumson 2-1.
B Central
Forward - Adriana Dalia Senior St. Rose - Adrianna had the game winning PK to clinch the division against rival Point Beach early in the week and then scored one against Lacey to end the week.
Defender - Julia Whesper Senior St. Rose - Julia has done a good job playing holding midfield for St. Rose this season. The two sport athlete always plays tough defense, whether on the pitch or hardwood. She helped keep Point Beach scoreless to win B Central in a 1-0 victory last week.
Goalie - Morgan Highland Senior Point Beach - Morgan had another good week in net. She had 10 saves against St. Rose to help force OT. She finished the week with her 5th shutout of the year against Pinelands.
B South
Forward - Beth Stephens Senior Lacey - Beth had a great week last week. She finished with 6 goals and 1 assist. She also helped set up scoring chances with her passing. At the end of last week she had 11 goals on the season.
Defender - Gabby Mellet Soph. Point Boro - Gabby has been a key part of this tough Point Boro defense. She has helped with seven shutouts as of the end of last week. She also can be dangerous on corner kicks, her height gives her an advantage and she was able to head in her first goal of the season last week.
Goalie - Ava Schmidt Freshman Lacey - Ava has stepped in for the injured Lorynn Leporino, who took Lacey to a SJG3 title last year, nicely. Ava has not played like a freshman, she posted two shutouts last week and then had six saves against St. Rose to end the week, where she was well tested at some points.
