Bea Tinoco - Middletown South  - What a rookie season Bea had for the Eagles. She leads the team with 20 goals going into the sectional final, including all four in a 4-2 win in the semis to help Middletown South advance.

All-Freshman Team 2022

Goalie

Ava Schmidt - Lacey - Ava stepped in nicely when starter Lorynn Leporino went down with an injury and helped Lacey have another successful season. She finished the year with eight shutouts, no bigger then against Central Regional in the opening round of the SCT.

Honorable Mention

Emily Venezia - Trinity Hall - Another team that was lucky enough to have a strong back up to start the season. Emily stepped in for the injuried Olivia Fazzolari and posted seven shutouts on the season. She finished with 101 saves on the year.

Leila Shaw - Manalapan - Again, another freshman goalie forced to step up due to the Emma Guidotti being injuried for the season, Leila stepped up and help take Manalapan to the CJG4 finals.  She made a couple saves in the finals you do not expect from a freshman to almost give Manalapan the upset. She posted 3 shutouts in the state tournament in one of the hardest brackets.

Defense

Molly Walker - Trinity Hall - Molly was a key part of the Trinity Hall defense all season. As a freshman she stepped right in and made an impact helping keep Trinity Hall in tight games. She also was able to help on offense, scoring three goals and having three assists.

Maria DeGregorio - Middletown South - As a freshman, Maria barely stepped off the field for the Eagles. She played very composed for a freshman and can also help on offense, playing a little midfield as well for MS. She had three goals this season, including one against Rumson in a 2-1 win.

Emma Christensen - Central Regional - Emma was a big part for putting Central Regional on the map this season. The offense got most the accolades but her play on the back line was a huge factor, especially in the wins against TRN.

Kate Meulener - Red Bank Regional - Kate stepped right into the starting line up for the Bucs this season and had a strong season. Kate stood out against Jackson Liberty in the state tournament, Liberty had a chance to score on an open goal and Kate got to the goalline and cleared the ball out to keep it a one goal game.

Honorable Mention

Skylar Breen - Keyport - Skylar was an important part of the Keyport defense and will be future leader of the team. Not only did she help control the defense she added four goals of the season and won Division defender of the week early in the season.

Katie Dillinger - Pinelands - Katie  might have been Pinelands most important player this season. She played almost every minute this season and will be building block to bring Pinelands back to the team they were just couple seasons ago.

Midfielders

Elise Viggiano - Point Boro -  Elise may not of had the stats this season, but she had major impact in the midfield for Point Boro. Her biggest moment in the season was when she scored in the SCT semifinals against Howell to give Point Boro some hope late in the game.

Reese Achille - Brick Twp - Reese started almost every game this season and is a key piece Brick Twp can build around for the future. Mostly played midfield, but she was able to be used all over the field and she has a very high soccer IQ.

Skylar Swanke - Southern Regional - Another freshman who can play several positions, Skylar started the season in midfield and played defense towards the end of the season. She will look to be the leader of the back line next season. Skylar was a key reason Eastern could not score until the final minutes of the opening round in SJG4.

Julie Ifantis - Jackson Memorial -  Julie stepped into the starting line-up because of an injury, but she did not disappoint and earned her minutes. She did a good job in the middle of the field setting up her teammates and is a reason Jackson Memorial was one of the toughest opponents at the end of the season.

Honorable Mention

Olivia Miller - Lacey - Olivia did a great job for Lacey this season playing midfield and some forward. Her passing opened up the field for the Lacey forwards all season and look for stats to increase next year as she takes a bigger role on offense.

Ellie Gomez - Neptune - Ellie had four goals and four assists on the season for Neptune.  Her play has earned more minutes towards the back end of the season and Neptune has high hopes with her at midfield.

Forwards

Baileigh Johnson - Pt Beach - Baileigh has 18 goals so far this seasn as Pt Beach heads to Group 1 semis. She has been tough to cover all season for opponents and is big reason they won CJG1. She has 7 goals in states so far.

Daniella Butash - Manalapan - A team with starts like Vanessa Sarf and Sydney Spilsbury, Daniella was a big part of the Manalapan offense this year. She finished the season with 8 goals and 12 assists for the Braves.

Jenna Eichenbaum - Shore Regional - It was not your typical year at Shore Regional, but they did have some bright spots. They ended the season strong and they got good production out of Jenna who finished with eight goals on the season to lead the team.

Madison Cubbinson - Manchester - Madison had a big start to her first season at Manchester, helping the get off to a strong start on the season. She finished the season with 7 goals and 2 assists. She also had a couple game winners along the way.

Honorable Mention

Madison Miller - Wall - Madison finished with three goals this season for Wall, but none bigger then against Rumson in the CJG2 finals to help Wall lift the trophy. Future is bright for Wall as they played several freshman this season and a couple good freshman coming in next season.

Alexa Berkley - Jackson Memorial - Another school that will be tough to play next couple of seasons. Alexa played a key role turning around Jackson Memorial season. She finished with two goals and two assists, including a goal in the upset win against Central Regional.
